Show Ivy Streeper Carr Ivy Streeper Carr, age 82, died Sept. 22, 1990 in Bountiful. Bora July 1, 1908 in Centerville, to Herbert Rex and Voila Rosetta Smith Streeper. Married I Cecil A. Carr Aug. J 18, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduate of Davis High School, attended University of Utah and Heneger's Business College. Worked part time I Gleaner teacher; Relief Society secretary, secre-tary, counselor, chorister, visiting teacher and ward choir. Member of Centerville Literature, Music and Arts Club. She loved gardening, nature, handwork and people. Survived by her husband of Centerville; sons and daughters, Blaine S. Carr and Alex P. Can of Centerville, Lowell C. Carr and Mrs. William L. Jo rg ens en (Leslie) of Bountiful, Mrs. Gary A. Ward (Maurine) of Hyrum; 26 grandchildren grand-children and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Streeper and Mrs. Raymond A. (Rosabelle) Gwynn of Centerville. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Herbert Cecil and Rex Smith Streeper and one sister, Mrs. W. Lamoni (Carmen) Carr. Funeral services 12 noon, Thursday, Thurs-day, Sept 27, Centerville 19th Ward, 900 S. 400 E., Centerville. Friends may call at R us son Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Wednesday evening 6 to 8 and at the ward from 11 to 11:45 before the services. Interment, Centerville City Cemetery. clerking at ZCMI, Auerbach's, Paris; office at Utah Poultry Producers Association, Family Service Society, Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. Worked full time at Intermountain Association Credit Men, as doctor's receptionist, Carr Printing Company, Professional Printing Company and kept books for Printing Industry of Utah Credit Union. Active member LDS Church. Primary counselor, chorister, teacher; Mutual secretary, ward and stake dance instructor. Beehive and |
