"CLEP is for high school graduates who can 'CLEP' college courses, and for nontraditional students who have acquired knowledge from correspondence or ex tension courses, educational television, adult education programs, on-the-job training or independent study," Dr. Dunford said "It is based, on ;tbe;-concept ;tbe;-concept that what people know is more irnportant than how they learned it." , v;.:.v;B $':xSi CEDAR CITY Testing for several subjects through the College-Level Examination Program, better known as CLEP, will be Oct. 15 at Southern Utah State College. CLEP tests in English, humanities, natural sciences, mathematics and social sciences-history sciences-history will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the SUSC Counseling Center, Administration 102. Those taking the exams should be at the Center by 8:15. The first test costs $25; additional tests taken the same day of" during the same month cost $22.
