Show Bus problems WILLARD The dispute between school district and city officials at Willard over hazardous hazar-dous bus transportation apparently has been resolved. The controversy, one in which court action was threated, was capped when the Box Elder Board of Eduation's offer to provide bus transportation tran-sportation for students at community expense was accepted. As of last week, between bet-ween 70 and 80 students living east of U.S. 89 are being bused to and from elementary school across the highway. Parents were asked to pay $10 for each child benefiting from the service, and the city reportedly will make up the balance for this year. The controversy surfaced sur-faced after the school board voted to stop providing bus service for students in areas where walking to and from school had been considered con-sidered hazardous. |
