Show Localgirls perform well CEDAR CITY - Four Iron County female athletes, two from Cedar High School, and two from Parowan High, will add their talents this year to the Southern Utah State College volleyball team. highest finish ever by any Thunderbird team in the history of the school. Brinkerhoff, a freshman, fresh-man, was a standout performer in both volleyball and basketball at Cedar High last season. She was named captain of the volleyball team. Peterson is aiming at leading the T-Birds to their sixth consecutive RMAC championship, and to a third trip to the NAIA national tournament. They are Paula Burgoyne (5-11, junior) and Tori Brinkerhoff (5-9, freshman), both Cedar High graduates, and Anita Green (5-3Vz, junior) and Lisa Stolk (6-0, (6-0, junior), both from Parowan High School. Burgoyne, Green and Stolk all return from last year's Rocky ..Mountain . Athletic Conference: championship -team, which also was the NAIA District Seven and bi-district bi-district champion.
