Cedar Soccer Is enjoying widespread support from parents and fans. Matches are played each Saturday at the softball park. H Vr- rvv-nvx- MIL j,j . 1 that to be the case. In the Cosmos-Strikers game it was a 1-1 tie with David Tate scoring for the Strikers on a penalty kick, and Chad McDade doing the same for the Cosmos. The Sockers and the Rowdies also tied, with Ryan Conrad scoring 13:30 into the game for the Rowdies and Jason Mitchell doing it for the Sockers 25 minutes into the game. The Sting defeated the White Caps 2-1 with all scoring coming in the first half of the game. Darrell Galloway scored first for the White Caps; but the Sting tied it up when Sterling Barton scored, and then Ryan Gardner put across the winning point. On Saturday the Strikers and Rowdies tied, with neither team being able to score. The Cosmos came from behind in the second half to defeat the Sockers 2-1. Brandon Clark scored for the Scockers in the first half; but Chad McDade and Aaron DeSpain put points across within one minute of each other to win for the Cosmos.
