Show SUSC plans homecoming Southern Colorado State College. A mini-500 bicycle race and the second annual SUSC Follies are two activities planned for Southern Utah State College homecoming Nov. 3-8. "It's Magic." has been selected as the homecoming theme by Homecoming Chairwoman Chair-woman Wendy Romine and her committee. "Several traditional activities will be held during the week, such as the torch run, queen's pageant, mud bowl, homecoming parade and semi-formal homecoming dance," said Terrie Cox, publicity assistant. New activities will include a square dance, magic show and the mini-500, mini-500, a 50-mile marathon bicycle race. "SUSC Follies, a variety show featuring the best in SUSC talent, from the days the school was known as the Branch Normal School to the present, is being added agian to the homecoming agenda," Mrs. Cox said. " The program was very popular last year with alumni, students, and friends of the college." Other alumni activites will include the 50-Year Club Banquet, this year welcoming the Branch Agriculatural College class of 1930; and the alumni banquet where the association's distinguished service award will be announced.
