Show Kanarraville by Carma Williams Airman Michael Lakner, son of John and Mary Lakner, is home for a ten-day furlough. Michael just graduated from photography school at Pennsicola, Fla. first in his class. He will leave here togo to Norfolk, Va., where he is in audio visual photography. Gwen Davis and Bevan and Doris Williams spent from Wed. through Sat. in Henderson, Nev., visiting Gwen's daughter and son-in-law, Hanna and Michael Gaibraith and their family. Charlie Leeder and Doug Thorley spent a week in Arizona on a bear hunting trip. Teresa and John Batty and Debra Davis traveled to Las Vegas to take John to catch a plane for Shady Point, Okla. to visit his inlaws, in-laws, Kenneth and Colleen Williams. Kenneth and John drove back to Utah with two horses the Battys had purchased there. Kenneth Ken-neth plans on spending a week here with his children. The Kanarraville Chaper of the Beta Sigma Phi is having a Harvest Carnival Oct. 23 at the Cobblecrest Dance Hall from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be sloppy joes, root beer, popcorn balls, game booths and apple bobbing. Marilyn Baumberger and two daughters spent a couple of days in Las Vegas visiting her mother, Alene Davis, who has been seriously ill. Delbert Reeves, son of Clayton and Shirlee Reeves, attended the cross country racing in Provo last week. ' : - Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Reeves and family from St. George spent Fri. here with their parents, Lynn and Ella Reeves. Marvin Davis from Burley, Idaho, spent the day here visiting his brother, Dean Davis, Dwight and Janette Williams from Las Vegas spent the weekend here with their sister-in-law, Berta Williams, Macayla and Laura Cornelius from Cedar City spent Sat. here with their friend, Tonya Prisbrey. Harlan and LaDene Walker from Cedar City spent Fri. evening with their brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Carma Williams. B.N. and LaDawn Williams and their family spent Sat. and Sun. in Flowell, Utah, with her father, Albert Swallow. Mr. and Mrs. Reg Kiser from Las Vegas bought the Ramos home owned by Dick Agee and spent their weekend here. |
