Show School Nominations For Student Officers Announced As Complete Student nominations for next year's officers were completed Monday. Bill Swapp of Alton and Tom Judd of St. George came out on top after eliminating five in the primararies last Friday, and are the candidates for student stu-dent body president. Bill has selected Paul Neilson as his campaign manager, and his party is to be known as the Sheepherders. On the same party were nominated: Barbara Tweedie of Hurricane, for vice , president; "Waldo Brooks, St. George, and Dorothy Hirschi, Hurricane, for commissioners of amusement; Truman Tru-man Bowler, Gunlock, president of the Boys' club; and Vivien Prince, St. George, president of the Girls' club. Schuyler Gardner is managing the Eight Ball party, with Tom Judd at the head. Other candidates candi-dates on this party are: Roma .Ts'isson. Washington, vice president; presi-dent; Delna Farnsworth, Kanab, and Arlo Hafen. Santa Clara, commissioners of amusements; Earl Milne. St. George, president of the Boys' club: and Herma Gubler. Ivins, president of the Girls' club. The platforms were read Monday; Mon-day; a pre-election dance was held Tuesday night; and campaigning will continue until Thursday Tiiiirit. The election will take place Friday. |
