Show Births . ... Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Austin Hunt of Bunkerville on April 19. Word was received last week of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Karl Terry of Provo, on April 16. Mother and daughter daugh-ter reported doing nicely. Reid Hunt entered the local hospital April 21 for medical treatment. Visiting Mrs. Louis Pectol over Saturday were her brother, Maughn Bishop and two friends, Rayola Robinson and Barbara Peterson, all of Hinckley. Florence Hall of Washington is in the local hospital since Tuesday Tues-day receiving treatment pending surgery. Featured prominently in the state convention of the Federated Women's clubs of Utah is Mrs. Roxey S. Romney, president of the southern district for the past year. Mrs. Frank Wishon, the former Miss Dorothy Woodhouse, of Balboa Bal-boa Island, California, who has been a house guest of Mrs. La-Von La-Von McQuaid during the past week, returned to her home on Thursday morning. Merle Morris of Kanab was a St. George visitor over Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Snow of Richfield were guests here the end of the week. Mrs. LaVella Clothier entertained entertain-ed a group of friends at her home Wednesday evening. Born, a son, to Mr. and Mrs. Willard Terry, April 15. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whipple returned re-turned Wednesday from a brief business and visiting trip to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bentley and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Holt of Enterprise were visiting relatives in St. George over Saturday and Sunday. Miss Alice Snow left last Saturday Satur-day for Provo where she will visit with her daughter, Miss Edna Snow for several weeks. Mrs. William Osborne returned Friday to her home in Price after visiting for several days at the home of her aunt, Orpha Morris. The Osbomes have been residents of Richfield but were transferred recently to Price. |
