Show Southern Utah Civic Clubs To Meet In St. George Next Saturday Outstanding Speakers Slated To Address Public At Afternoon Meet The Southern Utah Civic clubs will hold their next monthly meeting meet-ing in St. George on Saturday, April 26. Plans for the entertainment enter-tainment of the directors and special spe-cial speakers and for the business sessions of the meeting are in the hands of the St. George chamber of commerce, reports J. L. Wadsworth, president and Washington county director of the clubs. An outstanding program has been outlined which will feature Val D. Hicks, a vice president of the United States Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce. Also a representative repre-sentative of the state's livestock interests and other state officials and representatives. "We plan to present some of the musical talent for which Dixie is justly famous at both the afternoon aft-ernoon meeting and banquet in the evening," declares Mr. Wadsworth. Wads-worth. Xew Projects Requested "Anyone having a project that is of interest to Washington county is asked to present it to the board for their consideration. If approved the organization will give the project its complete support," sup-port," points out Mr. Wadsworth. Continued assistance toward the securing of the oiling of the Snow Canyon road and the small reservoir reser-voir program will be asked of the clubs, it was indicated here by those pushing these projects.
