Show New Harmony Mrs. O. Hammond Reporter Tuesday, Percy Reid of New Mexico Mex-ico was transacting business with the goat owners of this section. His wife visited at the Albert Mathis home. The school teachers, Glenn Graff and Florence Prince returned return-ed Sunday from attending the U. E. A. convention in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Bert Covington and family and Mrs. Annetta Pearce and two sons of St. George were visiting relatives and friends here on Saturday Sat-urday evening and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Taylor and family of Cedar City were visiting at the home of Heber J. Walton on Sunday. Grant Condie and Miss Opal Gillespie of Cedar City were visits ing relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Levi J. Taylor Jr., of Riverdale, Utah, relatives of In-depence In-depence Taylor, were visitors at his home here Monday. Mrs. Ruth Reinie of Lomita, California, mother of Mrs. Heber Walton is here visiting for a month with her relatives. Mrs. Francis Dostalek received word here that her son, Manuel, who is in the government service in Alaska was operated on for ap-pendictis ap-pendictis here last week. It is reported that he is doing as well as can be expected. Thomas and Lester Hardy of Cedar City were visitors Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Or-son Hammond. The Relief Society started their season's work Tuesday. The goat owners here are busy dipping their goats. |
