Show Dixie College km PEP CLUB The Pep club, 100 strong, held a party at the Arrowhead hotel Monday evening. The aims of the club were explained by Waldo Brooks, who with Helen Pectol will lead the cheers this season. Games, dancing and refreshments followed. . This is one of the largest pep squads in the history of the college, col-lege, so an enthusiastic year may be expected. DCN CLUBS The Men's club of the college, also the Amitia club, women's organization, elected officers last week. Tex Mosely was elected president of the former organization organiza-tion last spring, and Jane Pace president of the latter. Other officers for the men are: Vice president, Russell Cornelius, Virgin; secretary and treasurer, Phil Squire, LaVerkin; senior rep-sentative, rep-sentative, Lloyd Sandberg, Hurricane; Hurri-cane; junior representative, Bill Swapp, Alton; sophomore representative, repre-sentative, Herbert Pitchforth, St. George; freshman representative, Junior Larkin, St. George. The Amitia club elected: Vice president, Viola Wohlgemuth, St. George; and secretary, Alice Thompson, St. George. |
