Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hunting of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mangum of Price are here visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Huntsman. Word was received here last week by Mrs. Jacob Bushar that Mr. Bushar, who was in San Bernardino with a load of potatoes po-tatoes had been seriously hurt in an automobile accident and was in a hospital there. Mrs. Bushar left here Monday to be with her husband until he can be moved home. A broken hip bone seemed to be the most serious hurt sustained. sus-tained. Five boys returning home from S,evey's ranch Friday night ran into a fine Jersey cow belonging to John Hunt and killed the cow instantly. Investigation by Sheriff Prince on Saturday disclosed that the car was going at a high rate of speed and that driver had no license. Another car accident happened Saturday when a car from Ely, entering from the west side of town collided with one driven by Joseph Holt of this place, who was coming through from the south. The car from Ely was damaged to the extent of $125. Mr. Holt's car was only slightly damaged. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Terry, Mrs. Lillie Farnsworth and Marion Mar-ion Laub are at home after a trip to Salt Lake City. While away they attended conference and visited vis-ited with relatives for another week. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tobler, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Holt, Mr.- and Mrs. Theron Snyder, Lyman Fin-linson, Fin-linson, Karl Foster, Dessie Jones and Miss Bessie Snow all attended attend-ed the U. E. A. in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Truman have moved to Enterprise from Gunlock where they spent the summer. LeRoy Young, Mr. Evans of Salt Lake City and LeRoy Cox of St. George held a Republican rally here last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones at- tended funeral services in Summit for Oscar Hulet last week. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Winsor of Logandale, were business visitors here Tuesday. |
