Show fehlrifsfcn Mrs. ln7Je Hoopes Reporter The stake missionaries held a meeting here Sunday evening. Talks were given by Mr. Harmon and Mr. Seaman from St. George. A duet was given by Elsie Reber and her mother, Mrs. Turner, accompanied ac-companied by Lenzy Hoopes on the guitar. During the summer theese meetings have been held in the open-air oh the church lawn, but they are now being held in the ward chapel. Earl Parkinson of Pintura was in town Tuesday on business. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Blackett, who was stricken with infantile paralysis, is improving, improv-ing, according to reports received here by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace lverson. Heber C. Atkin who has been in Los, Angeles for the past month visiting his children arrived home Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Pymm visi-ited visi-ited with Mrs. Pymm's mother, Mrs. Zina Prisbrey on Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. James Ott and son of Salt Lake City spent the week-end here with Mrs. Ott's mother, Mrs. E. M. lverson. The men here are target practising prac-tising and getting ready for the deer hunt. The sorghum machine under the management of William Whitehead White-head is at work here. |
