Show 1 Toquerville j Mrs. Kowena Slack lie porter ' Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scoville j and Mrs. Stanley Osborne of Salt I Lake City visited for the past ten days at the home of Mrs. Sco-i Sco-i ville's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sam-uel C. Dodge. While here Mr. ' Scoville underwent a minor operation oper-ation at the St. George hospital. Mrs. Anniss Naegle left for Los Angeles by rail on Saturday. She will visit with relatives there before be-fore going to San Francisco for an extended visit with her children, child-ren, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Naegle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cornero. A large group attended the political po-litical rally and show at Hurricane Hurri-cane given by the Republican candidates. Thursday night a dance was given by Robert Dean, recreation leader. Stake officers at the Sunday school were Farrel Lemmon and Frank Barber of Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Dodge spent the week-end in Pioche visiting vis-iting relatives and friends. Monday a fire started in the basement of the L. S. Kleinman home. Everyone turned out to assist as-sist in extinguishing it and very littlp rtamacrp was done. Mrs. Merlin Hirschi of Hurricane Hurri-cane is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beatty. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wake-ling Wake-ling visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Higbee. Mrs. Avery Bringhurst is visiting visit-ing in Kanarra. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Slack spent Sunday in Kanarra. Mrs. J. V. Adams and infant son of Cedar City are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack. Wilmer Anderson and Afton Snow returned Sunday from attending at-tending the U. E. A. convention in Salt Lake City. |
