Show i Rental P.-T.A. Meet i Well Attended By District Representatives Representatives from all districts i but one comprising Region 10 J were represented at the regional j conference held in St. George on j last Monday, Oct. 14, in the ; South ward chapel, reports Mrs. I Anne N. Pace, regional director ! who was in charge of the con-j con-j ference. There were 45 registra-i registra-i tions at the morning session. District 10 includes Washington, Iron, Beaver, Garfield and Kane counties. At a special session held at noon for the teachers, principals, and superintendents, who could not attend during the regular sessions, luncheon was served to 70 guests. Mrs. Charles E. Roe, national P.-T. A. field secretary from Chicago, Chi-cago, Illinois, Mrs. C. O. Roskel-ley, Roskel-ley, state membership chairman, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Edmund Ed-mund P. Evans, state first vice president, Salt Lake City, were the guest speakers. They were deeply impressed with the beauty j and hospitality of Utah's Dixie, and carried home with them the respect and admiration of all who listened to their messages, and other material reminders of their visit to southern Utah. |
