Show Yeyo Mrs. James F. Cottam Reporter Miss La Verde Chadbum has gone to Grass Valley to work for Mason Rencher during deer season. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bunker of St. George spent Sunday in Veyo. Mr. and Mrs. Clive Bunker and children of Nelson, Nevada spent the week-end in Veyo. Melbourne Cottam who has spent the past summer at Medicine Medi-cine Lake Lodge in northern California Cali-fornia returned home last week. He will spend several weeks at home before returning to California. Cali-fornia. He was accompanied by his friend, Mr. Bartoni of Watson-ville. Watson-ville. The D. U. P.'s met October 10 at the home of Mrs. J. F. Cottam. An interesting lesson on "Mining and Milling of Early Utah Days", was given by Mrs. Esther Cottam. Lunch was served to seven members mem-bers and one visitor. George Chadburn and J. F. Cottam Cot-tam were home missionaries in the St. George East ward on Sunday. The CCC moved in from Duck creek last week. The deer hunters are making preparations for a bigger and better bet-ter deer hunt this year. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bowler have had some of their California deer hunters with them for the past week. W. O. Bentley was the speaker in the Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Sun-day. His talk was very interesting and timely. Mrs. J. F. Cottam spent the first part of last week in Salt Lake City on business, returning home on Wednesday. The school teachers here, Grant Hafen and Miss Prince attended the U. E. A. in Salt Lake City last week. |
