Show SprMale Mrs. Jay Crawford Reporter Dorothy Excell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Excell and Roland Piatt of Richfield were married late in September in the St. George Temple. Mr. Piatt is attending at-tending school at Logan. He has returned to Logan to continue his studies and his wife plans to join him later. Thursday the Guardian rank of the Bee Hive girls under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Dee Roundy planted plant-ed a tree on the church grounds. The dedicatory prayer was offered of-fered by Bishop Hardy after which the girls had a short program pro-gram and lunch was served. Mr. and Mr,s. Loyal Millett from Lake Arrowhead, Calif., are visiting relatives here. Mr. Millett Mil-lett plans to hunt while here. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Ashworth are visiting in Cedar City and Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Allred spent the week-end fishing at Panguitch lake. Four boys from the town volunteered vol-unteered for service in the Army. They left here several weeks ago. They are: Paul Crawford, Kent Justet, Lawrence Gifford and Cleo Gifford. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Demming left here during the week for Provo. Mr. Demming is connected connect-ed with the road project. The M. I. A. is showing a great deal of improvement this year. The Y. M. M. I. A. re-organized with Elmer Roundy as president, Weston Justet and Hyrum Ruesch as counselors. |
