Show : Eraft Cupboard By Maureen G. Spencer - A Galvanized pail gets patchwork Patchwork freaks will love today's cupboard we patch a galvanized pail! Begin with a short pail and Wilhold Glue and an assortment of sizes of coordinating ribbon pieces around the sides. Paint a similar color in acrylic around the edge of the pail bottom, and place a favorite patch pattern in your side ribbons on the bottom. Mod Podge overall to seal. A "delightful finishing touch after the glue is dry is to use a Design Master black felt tip ( not all felt tips are usable for this part), and "stitch" around each piece, and then place appropriate sayings on an assortment of sizes. For example: "Happiness is Homemade," "Love Spoken Here," "Home is Born in the Kitchen." Finish the project with a heavy coat of gloss Mod Podge. This ink won't run or smudge. What you've just created is a family popcorn bucket, and finish the project with patching tin cups for each family member and hanging from the sides with S hooks. |
