Show Ute tribe queen named Doylene Cesspooch was crowned Miss Ute Tribe at Fort Duchesne after performing a traditional dance for her talent presentation last week. First runner-up was Valerie Tahguv, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tahguv of Ouray. The second runner-up was Lolita Ankerpont. daughter of Francis Ankerpont and the late Emily Ankerpont. She was also named Miss Congeniality. Third runner-up was Constance Serawop, daughter of Clifford Serawop of Randlett. Miss Cesspooch, a 1981 graduate of Sherman Indian School in Riverside, Calif., is a daughter of Annette Pusher and Delmar Cesspooch of Randlett. She was selected from a field of four candidates. |
