Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS The following applications applica-tions have been filled with the State Engineer to change and appropriate water in Uintah County throughout the entire year unless otherwise designated. Locations in SLB&M. a-11724 45 45961 Vernal City, 495 E. Main, Vernal, UT proposes to change the point of diversion of 5.8 sec. ft. out of a total of 6.0 sec. ft. of waler as evidenced by a portion of Appl. 24023 45-2083. The water has been diverted from three, 12 inch wells, 200-500 ft. deep, at the following points: 1 N. 84 degrees 15' W. 1960 ft. from SE Cor. Sec. 1; 2.S. 81 degrees W. 1770 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 12; 3 S. 68 degrees 50' W. 1760 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 12; all T3S, R20E; and used for the municipal purposes pur-poses within Vernal City. The water will be stored from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 by means of an earthfilled dam 144 ft. high creating a reservoir having a 26,000 ac. ft. capacity inundating 521 acs. in S',i Sec. 2; NW4, S'uSec. 3; N'2, SEV4 Sec. 4; NEV4 Sec. 9; Sec. 10; W'-jSec. 11; NE'iSec. 15, all T3S, R22E; and used for power generation purposes pur-poses in W'2 Sec. 11, T3S, R22E. The water will be returned to its natural stream, at a point S. 2700 ft. E. 1250 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 11, T3S, R22E. Protests resisting the granting of these applica-tions applica-tions with reasons therefore must be filed in duplicate with the State Engineer, 231 E. 400 S., SLC, UT 84111, on or before June 13, 1981.
