Linda Morris was selected as the first attendant and the queen contest chairman is Elmora Petersen. Queen is selected for rodeo Doreen Hunting was selected as the queen of the Oldtimers' Rodeo and Linda Morris was named as the first attendant May 2. Elmora Peterson was the queen contest chairman. The queen and attendant will reign over the National Oldtimers' Kodeo, which will be held at the Uintah County Fairgrounds in Vernal, June 26 and 27. The rodeo on June 26 will begin at 8 p.m. and the June 27 rodeo will start at 1 p.m. Rodeo contestants will be 40 years old or older and will compete in bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, team roping, calf roping, bull dogging and ribbon picking. A buckle will be awarded in each event. There will be 40-50, 50-60 and 60 and over divisions in team roping, calf roping and ribbon picking. |
