We sophomores nab vols rvh place The Uintah Utes picked up fourth place honors in the Region 7 Sophomore Meet at Murray High School with 57 and five-sixths points. Murray captured cap-tured first place with 152 points and Tooele garnered second place at 148 counters. Cyprus placed third at 88 points and Judge Memorial captured fifth place at 49 and one-third points. Jordan placed sixth at 24 and one-third points. Uintah's Jeff Drollinger captured second place in the long jump with a leap of 18'10" and Clark Emery nabbed second place in the shot put with a toss of 39'9". Bucky Tingey garnered third place in the 110 meter high hurdles at 16.7 and Ttoy Liebhardt placed third in the 100 meter dash at 11.5. Uintah's 400 meter relay team placed third at and Jody Young collected third place in the pole vault at lO'O". Tingey nabbed fourth place in the meter hurdles at 47.1 and Paul Neika placed fourth in the discus at 9l'(" Drollinger tied for fifth place in them meter hurdles at 19.5. Uintah pocketed fifth place in the medley relay at 5-551 and netted fifth place in the 1600 meter relay at 4:10.9. Torr McCurdy placed fifth in the pole vault at 9'0" and Emen pocketed fifth place in the javelin j 125'. Jerry Haslem nabbed fifth placein the high jump at 5'2".
