Show Water supply outlook E Water supply outlook for northeastern nor-theastern Utah remains low as of May, according to the NOAA National Weather Service Forecasting Service in Salt Lake City. Streamflow forecasts remain low due to deficient precipitation on the higher elevations. April precipitation amounts in eastern Utah were mostly 70 to 100 percent of normal with scattered amounts as high as 120 percent. Seasonally, (October through April) precipitation amounts are 64 to 143 percent. ' Streamflow forecasts are 53 to 86 J percent in the upper tributaries of the I Duchesne River decreasing to 34 percent downstream at Randlett. I Forecasts for the lower reach of the White and Yampa Rivers are 50 and 44 ! percent respectively, and the ' Strawberry River, 27 percent. Moon Lake contains 17.30 acre-feet, I 51 percent of usable capacity. The May- July inflow forecast of 52,00 acre-feet.-1 74 percent of normal, is expected to raise the contents of the lake to a peak of 25,000 acre-feet near June 25. |
