Show Police arrest youth involved in car burglary City police arrested a Vernal youth, who police believe was involved in several other burglaries in the area, last Saturday night in connection with an automobile burglary. Responding to a call from the Sunburst Sun-burst Recreation Center of an automobile burglary, police began searching for a 14 year-old boy who was described by witnesses. Officer Manuel Cantu picked up the youth on Main Street and interrogation by detectives showed that the juvenile was involved in the theft of over $500 from Waterbed World, and three other burglaries, said Det. Paul Parker. In an unrelated incident, Jimmy Jaggers was arrested Monday for possession of a dangerous weapon by a convicted felon. Bail was set at $5,000 and he was incarcerated in the Uintah ( County Jail. According to Detective Mel Curtis, Jagger is on probation for a felony crime from another state. |
