Show Family Strikes Again In Mystery Contest Tlu Cozons Family strikes again! (Hut again, for only $7.50). Wo don't think this Mo-ab Mo-ab family has missed a week entering the big Mystery Personality eon-test, eon-test, and the results: first Dick won, than last week Mary Jane won, and this week son Paul had his entry drawn from the box. That's an ironic thing too. Rob Kvans, of the SunDowner Restaurant was in the office, so we asked him to draw our winner. Upon comparing Paul's clue list with our master list, we discovered discov-ered that Paul had missed miss-ed the clue in the Sun-Downer Sun-Downer ad which read "For Gourmet Foods." Jim Walker, the Mystery Mys-tery Personality of the week, had told us during interview that he was for gourmet foods (and for most any kind of foods for tht matter), so it seemed a most appropriate appro-priate clue to slip into that particular ad. Paul had all the other clues on the list, however, howev-er, and no extra clues. Subtract his Moab Merchant's Mer-chant's Check for $7.50 from the total of $114 possible for the week, and add the prize for next week of $43 possible, and the jackpot in goods and services from participating participat-ing merchants goes up to $149.50 for next week, which is the final week of the contest. We will have a Mystery Mys-tery Personality in this week's issue, and the final fi-nal Mystery Personality contest will appear in our Jan. 30 edition. The final fi-nal winner will be drawn on Feb. 4. If the first entry drawn does not list the personality, all the clues and no more, the person entering will receive re-ceive $7.50; another entry will be drawn, and the same procedure followed until all the prize is given away. If during the course of drawing an entry is pulled which does properly proper-ly identify the personality personal-ity and list all the clues, but no more, the entrant will receive the entire remainder of the prize. There were a total of 17 clues this week. They were: 7 years Boy Scouts, Galleria Hair Fashions; Comm. Ed. Dir., City Market; Teacher, Family Drug; Wift Nola, Sheri-Lyn; Sheri-Lyn; 5 Children, Blue Max Stereo; Redhead, Miller's Super Market; 6'2", Apache Ap-ache Motel; Twin boys, Valley Tire; Two pickups, Richard's House ofBeau-ty; ofBeau-ty; Ph. 259-6303, Lil's Fabrics; Fo r Gourmet Foods, SunDowner; Moab Mo-ab Irrigation Board, Lu-cille's; Lu-cille's; Bicentennial Comm., TraveLodge; 330 Walker, Sabo's Electronics; Electron-ics; LDS, Moab Lanes; Walker, Lil's Fabrics; Big Jim, Miller's Super Market. |
