Show G. R. School News By Jan Nielson A donkey basketball game was held in the GRHS gym Wednesday, Jan. 15. The Green River boys played against the adults. There was a lot of excitement and even though there were a few spills everyone had fun. Before the game started there was a preliminary game between the Pep Club and the basketball team. Although the boys were handicapped it was a roudy game just the same. The Green River Pirates Pir-ates traveled to Moab to wrestle and play a game of basketball Friday the 17th. The wrestlers who won their matches were Walter Maldanado, Randy Ran-dy Stubblefield, and Tracy Tra-cy Spadafora. Then the Pirates played the Red Devils in a very close game of basketball. Although Al-though the Pirates worked work-ed very hard, they were defeated with the scores 47 to 35 for the B game, and 59 to 65 for the A game. His average was 28.5. We are all proudof Timmy and the team. The team played an exceptionally ex-ceptionally good game at Moab. |
