This is Barbara's first year as a Girl Scout Leader and we would like to welcome her to the wonderful world of Scouting. Her husband Roger works for the State Department of Highways and they have 3 children, Cari 8 who is in the Brow nie Troop, Tommy 4, and Ryan 3. The family belongs to the 4th Ward of the LDS Church and besides trying to teach 20 3rd grade girls all about Scouting Barbara does sewing in heT home for others. She has lived in Moab 3 years coming from Richfield. Neva Williams has joined us as a first year leader also and has a daughter Trena 8, in the troop. David 10 and Tim -my 4 round out the family fam-ily headed by husband Edmond who is employed by Union 76 Recycling Plant. The family belongs be-longs to the First Baptist Bap-tist Church where Neva is a Sunday School teacher. teach-er. Neva was a Brownie as a child and we wel- comer her back to Scouting. Scout-ing. The Williams family has lived in Moab 8 years coming here from Seagraves, Texas. Mary Winfield was featured in the January 1975 issue of the Trooper, Troop-er, the official publication publica-tion of the Utah Girl Scout Council, for her accomplishment in earning earn-ing all of the Junior badges. Cadette Troop 110 is having a turkey and ham dinner Friday, Jan. 24 at 5:30 to 7:30 at the Community Baptist Church to raise money for their June trip to the International Girl Scout House "Our Cabana" in Mexico. |
