Show HAM, CORN FRITTERS Ham and corn fritters fit easily into many menus. To prepare the fri titers,- combine 1 cup of whole kernel corn, V2 cup ground cooked ham and a small amount of minced onion. Sift together 2-3 cup of flour and IV2 teaspoons of baking powder and add the corn mixture. Add cup milk. Blend well, then drop fritter batter by teaspoonfuls into deep hot lard. Ham and corn friters are temptingly served with a well seasoned cream or tomato sauce. If desired, corned beef may be used in place of ham. |
