Show Mapleton Business " Place, Home Are Burglarized Two burglaries in Mapleton Wednesday resulted in a considerable consider-able loss of property and money. According to investigating deputy dep-uty sheriffs Reuben Christianson and Merrill Smith, burglars entered en-tered the home of William B. Lindsay Lind-say through the unlocked kitchen door and made off with a shotgun, .22 rifle, table radio, and $30 in cash. They estimate the robbery took place between 5 and 7 p. m. when the house was vacant. Later the same night robbers broke into the Holley service station sta-tion in Mapleton by smashing the front door glass. Reports show that $10 in cash, cigarets. candy, used tires and the account ledger were taken from the station. Also investigating the burglaries was Fay Jensen, city marshal. |
