Show a Teen Time ByBessRitter Sea shells which you collected last summer are lovely for decorating deco-rating picture frames. Daub a little lit-tle glue on each shell, and place it on the wood, until the entire surface is covered. Start with tiny shells neai the picture, and work outward. The largest shells should be at the edge. Try a "backwards party" the next time you entertain. Write the Invitations spelled backwards or so your guests must read them by holding them up to a mirror. Guests come to the party with their clothes on backwards. Serve dessert first, then the main dish, and finally, the entree. Games can be played backwards, also. Just for fun, try blindman's buff, by covering the eyes of all the players, play-ers, and placing a bell on the person who is "It." Everybody tries to find the one who is "It" for a change. Don't forget hide and seek, with the. hiders trying to catch the seeker. Remember, of course, to say "goodby" to all the guests when they come in, and "Hello, I'm glad to see you," when they're ready to leave. To avoid arguments as to who Is to wash the dishes after supper, introduce the family to this democratic demo-cratic method: Place a piece of colored Scotch tape underneath one of the dinner plates. Shuffle them carefully, while everybody watches. Now set the table. |
