These parties include the Inde- pendent group, headed by Frank Robertson for mayor; Taxpayers, with Elmer Bird at the head; Progressive, with Ralph Harmer chosen for mayor. For the first time in the history of Mapleton, and since it was recently re-cently classified as a third class city, there will be elected a recorder re-corder and a treasurer. Two coun-cilmen coun-cilmen will be elected for 4-year terms, along with the mayor and the city recorder. Other officers will be for 2-year terms. The entire Mapleton precinct will vote at the Town hall, between be-tween the hours of 7 a. m. and 8 p. m. Following is the list of candidates can-didates on the three respective parties: ' INDEPENDENT Frank' Robertson, Rob-ertson, mayor; Ray Scovil and John Parry, 1 4-year councilmen; Douglas Bills and Ernest Binks, 2-year 2-year councilmen; Willis Harmer, city recorder; Mrs. Mabel Hansen, treasurer.
