Show Utah Reduces It's Bonded Indebted A report released by the Utah state tax commission today revealed re-vealed that the senate's governmental govern-mental units have greatly decreased de-creased beaded indebtedness. The report showed that only $344,000 remained of the state debt which amounted to more than $2,500,000 in 1942. Counties have reduced their debts during the same period from $728,000 to $21,000 with only five counties remaining re-maining in debt at all. Although Utah's cities have met greatly increas-ed population demands, de-mands, they have only incurred an additional one tenth of one per cent indebtedness. On the average, state and local debts continued to amount to only $70.20 per person campared with the national average of $127, the report showed. |
