After the luncheon the visiting delegates traveled to Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company where they were escorted through the plant, then up Provo Canyon to observe the Deer Creek Project. Enroute back to Sa-,t Lake City they passed by and observed the Geneva Steel Plant. Seventy - eight representatives from North Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, Ne-braska, Montana, Idaho, California and Oklahoma were out-of-state visitors. Also represented at the luncheon were Tooele, Juab, Millard, Uintah, Duchesne, and Wasatch Counties. |
