If elected, we pledge to the citizens of Springville a conscientious and economic administration, giving consideration to all parties and problems presented to us. Among these are the following: 1. RECREATIONAL PROGRAM We recognize the need for an adequate recreational program. The program we propose will include necessary neces-sary facilities for baseball, softball, rodeo grounds, expansion of juvenile playgrounds (including encouragement encourage-ment of installation of equipment at our new Brookside Elementary School). 1 PUBLIC SAFETY We pledge a complete engineering survey as to the proper method of eliminating the hazards of Hobble Creek, and to take steps according to the findings of this survey. We promise to safeguard school children and traffic on Fourth South and Fourth East by the use of police patrol or the installation of a traffic semaphore. 3. WATER AND POWER PROJECT We will complete the water and power project at the earliest possible date, to eliminate as far as possible the purchase of outside electric power. 4. SEWAGE We will conduct a professional engineering survey for collection and disposal of sewage, and further extend and develop the present service. 5. STREET IMPROVEMENT We share with all Springville citizens a justifiable pride in our wide, well-kept streets, and pledge to continue con-tinue to maintain and extend, widen and improve them.
