'The rooms looked beautiful in their holiday uttire, and the same scheme was carried out in the table decorations. deco-rations. The quests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boyle of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Lang-don, Lang-don, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Carrigan and Miss M. J. Geeliam. One of the pleasing social events of the week was the dancing party given Tuesday Tues-day evening by Kuth chapter No. 3, Order of the Kastern Star. The hall decorations were the finest shown at any party this season, composed of a largo Christmas tree in the center of the hall from which Sama Claus later in the evening distributed distrib-uted presents to the guests, assisted by little Misses Ruth Ray and Don Ncllan. The punch booth was made attractive with a curtain effect of red and green streamers. Mrp. Frank C. Iligson entertained at a children's party Tuesday afternon in honor of her little niece, Marjorie Don Nellan of Salt Lake. The diversion of the afternoon consisted of games and music mu-sic and serving of refreshments at a long table which was decorated with little Christmas trees. The winter's big social event, the annual an-nual charity ball, is scheduled for January l, and everyone is looking forward to this event as being Die season's most elaborate party. Mrs. John Helm and children left on Friday for Toperiish, Wash., to make their home. Mr. Helm has been there since November. Mrs. Keeley arrived from Twin Falls Tuesday and is visiting at tho home of her sister, Mrs. H. V. Creason. Mi.ss Nell Thomas left Thursday for Boise to visit Miss Magdalene and Mrs. W. I;. Stoddard, former residents of Bur-ley Bur-ley Mr. and Mrs. Elmer White arrived on Wednesday from Salt Lake to spend the Christmas hoiidavs at the home of their parents. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Bohon, and Mrs. Kanghman. Miss Joie Sullivan, from the Lewfsron State Normal school, is spending Christmas Christ-mas with her mother, Mrs. Ida Sullivan, county superintendent of schools. Prizes for the best waltzing were won by Mr. and Mrs. Hillary. Sam Cline auctioned off ten prize boxes donated by members.' Luncheon was served. A bundle shower was given Wednesday Wednes-day by Mrs. 1). A.- Baxter at her home on Kessler avenue for Mrs. J. Q. Sanders, San-ders, fiz-es in cards were won by Mrs. Coon, Mrs. Farthiugliam and Mrs. Scott Tanner. Refreshments were served, and tho gifts for the guest of honor were wheeled into the living room in a baby carriage. S. church on Wednesday evening included the following numbers: Christmas Christ-mas carol, Mrs. Beth Woodbery, conducting; conduct-ing; prayer, by If. H. Pitchforth; address, ad-dress, Leonard Bowen; operetta, conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Berg Jorgensen; Christ- mas playlet, by the Primaries; benediction, bene-diction, by Robert Madison. Santa Claus then made his debut, and dancing and' refreshments followed. The meeting of the alumni of the Beaver county high school on Tuesday was a success, and was enjoyed by faculty fac-ulty and students.
