The sentence imposed im-posed immediately after conviction was six. months' imprisonment in the city jail and the payment of a fine of $230, The ' court sustained yesterday the state's demurrer to motion for dismissal in the case of C. C, Thompson, charged with a statutory offense. The motion for dismissal was based upon a clai in that, the defendant had been once .in jeopardy.
