A Christmas party was iriven at th1 home of Mrs. J. E. Deardorff at i'236 South Fifth East. A Christinas tree, decorated and electrically elec-trically lighted, was a feature of the party. I The Elkins club, which is organized j for charity work, had previously made ! a thorough canvass of the city and J found children who might be over-i over-i looked in holiday festival. The1 were I invited., to the after-Christmas party j given yesterday afternoon. The "women "wo-men called for the children in autonio-I autonio-I biles, and also took them to their 'homos. The basement of Mrs. Dear-! Dear-! dorfi 's honv.1 was transformed into a j rendezvous, of Christmas delight. Old 1 Snnta, impersonated by Howard Hout, J was on hand and greeted the tots with i a welcome handshake. Toys, eontrib-1 eontrib-1 uteri by the Keith-O'Brien company and by AValker Brothers Dry Goods company, were giw-n the guests.
