Show PIONEER WOMAN DIES AT THE AGE OF 9G Sperinl to The Tvihiiue. V-IKIGIIAM ; CITY. Dec. 27. Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Sarah Jensen, who died at the home of her son, Jacob Jensen. Thursdav evening at the age of i0 years. The cause of death was physical exhaustion. Mrs. Jensen was the wife of the late Hans P. Jensen of this city and was born in Slcsvig-Holstein. Germany, August Au-gust , She accepted the teachings of the Lat tor-day Saints and came to Frigham City, with one of the handcart companies during the spring of 1N;VL Since that date she had made this city her home and had been an active member of the L. D. S. church end Instrumental in the upbuilding of the community. Mrs. Jensen is survived by the following oh bdren : Jacob J onsen of Brigham, Joseph Jo-seph M. Jensen, F.phraim Jensen, Mrs. Ilulda J. Snow and Willard C. Jensen, all of Salt Lake. |
