Dillon, is home from the Culver M'litary academy, Ind.ana, to spend the holidays. Miss Margaret Phoup returned from school at Salt Lake Monday. She was joined at Armslead by Genrge L. Slump and Richard Shoup, who are returning to Salmon from the state university to spend the holidays. Dr. and M rs. J F. Adams entertained at Christmas dinner, . when covers were la'd for ten. Mrs. George L. Shoup and daughters, the M'sses Lena. Laura and Margaret, entertained at a family dinner party Christmas day, the gathering including e ghteen guests. Six hundred invitations were issued by the Woman's club this week for the masquerade mas-querade dance to be given by the members mem-bers on New Year's eve. The affair is under the general direction of the l'brary committee, of which Mrs. " J. H. Wright is chairman. Mrs. J. F. Melvin is head of the invitation commit tee; Mrs. S. C. Scribner will have- supervision of the decorations for the event, and supper wil! be served by Mrs. Walter C. Shoup and her committee. A program of spec'al vaudeville numbers, arranged by Miss Laura Shoup Vnd Mrs. W. C. McCor-mick McCor-mick of the dramatic committee, will precede the dance. An interesting session of the Woman's club was held at tile home of Mrs. G. B. Mrs. Hattie Davidson gave a demonstration dem-onstration of the many uses of biscuit dotigh and Mrs. C. G.
