High jinks at the University club New Year's eve will be an enjoyable festal occasion of the holidays holi-days for the members of the club and their guests. Dancing will be the dominant domi-nant feature of 'entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. William Yates McGill will entertain with a dinner dance at their home New Y'ear's eve. The guests will repair to the University club after dinner. din-ner. The churches of the city celebrated Christmas eve with appropriate enter-'tainments. enter-'tainments. Prominent features were the Christmas trees, which were greatly enjoyed en-joyed by the little folks. Mr. and Mrs. John Weber entertained with a merry Christmas tree party in honor of their daughter, Mrs. David Young, and her little daughter, Dorothy, who are spending the holidays at the Weber home. Besides the honor guests, Mr. and Mrs. James S. Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Van A. Newman, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Linsley and John Weber, Jr., were guests. Mrs. Harold P. Monroe has returned from a fortnight's visit in Denver. After a delightful motor trip in search of Christmas trees in Murray canyon, Elton Harris entertained Miss Lillian Drolin, Miss Cleora Murdock, Miss Madge Smith. Lester Kabisius and Leo Deckle-man Deckle-man at a dinner at the Hteptoe hotel, followed by a movie party at the Fly, Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Murdock gave plea-sure to a number of guests at a beautiful Christmas tree party Christmas eve. Mrs. Samuel Patrick will be the next hostess to the Wednesday Sewing club. Mrs. Aubrey Burkhart Bon ham is planning plan-ning to leave soon for the south to spend several months. Refreshments .were served and each "newsy" was presented with a book and Christmas favors. Eighteen Eight-een boys were present. Music and games wore the amusements furnished for the little guests.
