TWO ARE SUSPECTED OF ENTERING HOMES Suspected by the police of entering .basements of residences in search for alcoholic beverages, A. W. Williams, 21 years of age, and A. M. Davis, 26, were arrested yesterday afternoon by Detective Detec-tive C. A. Williams and Detective Chauffeur Chauf-feur Dee Chase at Second South and Sixth East streets. They are being held in the city jail on an open charge pending the conclusion of a police investigation. Occupants of residences have reported to the police during the past two days that two men, posing as employees of the public service companies, have gained entrance to their homes, and, after . searching the basements, have left without with-out doing any work on tho te.ephones or I lights. One resident reported the loss of a ten-gallon keg of denatured alcohol.
