T tt EETING winter's biting zephyrs It witl ra-dit smiles and rosy f 1 cheeks, a quintette of pretty Chi i. A Omega, sorority co-eds from the University of Utah hied themselves them-selves with skis and poles and brilliant Winter t ogs yesterda y to the snow-encrusted slopes near Fort Douglas, i Poised on the long: wooden runners, the , bevy of Enowmaids glided and raced and eped with the wind like veteran ski jrirls of the frozen north. Speeding- with the grace of birds on the wing over hill , crests and through the snow paths of the drooping gulleys, the five co-eds held the first winter outing of the Chi Omega Ski club. Of course, there were spills and tumbles tum-bles and trips and tangles and all the rest that goes with amateur skiing, but the girls had vowed to master the art of speeding on the runners, and. besides, they went to a lot of expense and trouble for the togs and skis. Before dusk of the first day's outing there was no hill too high or slope too step for them. They tried everything a. professional can try and did some things as well as professionals can do them--including -the well-known "spilling" feature fea-ture of the winter sport.
