Chairman Iever of the agriculture agricul-ture committee said the department of agriculture saw no need for this innovation inno-vation and blocked it with a point of order. Mr. Mondell told the house that the state department has been in com- ; munication with certain foreign Governments Govern-ments to see whether a certain amount of , horse- meat could be used in such coun- ' tries as have resorted to it at times for food.
