Show DISCHARGE 8 ENEMY ALIENS FROM SERVICE Alleged to Have Made Statements Disloyal Dis-loyal to the United states Government. PEMl.N'G, X. M., Feb. 1. Eipht enemy ene-my aliens today were discharged from the military service at Lamp Tody, sevpn being Austrians and one, Albert K. Lipp, a German. He enlisted in an Akron, Iowa, unit and was unnaturalized, unnatural-ized, according to the information obtained ob-tained here. The Austrians discharged were George Babula, Steve Stukor, Tri-fom Tri-fom Vissoj, Yencil Novak, John Gne-boco, Gne-boco, Eli Petricich and Josepe Joko-vich. Joko-vich. Tho eight enemy aliens were charged with having made statements disloyal to the United States government, one charge being that they had said they hoped Austria would win the war. Lipp was a first sergeant in the German Ger-man army and was a graduate of the University of Paris. No court-martial proceedings will be instituted against the eight enemy aliens, it was announced an-nounced at division headquarters, and they are now beiuj; held in the division guardhouse as civilians for the federal officers. . |
