Show PUIS PROGRESSING FOR ARiWTHEATERS Sixteen Companies to Be on Road by March 1, Says General Manager. WASHINGTON, Feb. 1. Jasper J. Mayer, general manager of the army canio theaters, announced tonight that eight oi the sixteen companies which will present performances at national army cantonments canton-ments will be on the road by February IS and that the entire number will be playing play-ing March 1. Thirteen of the sixteen camp theaters have been completed, and the others are expected to bo ready by the end of this month. Twelve of ih?. theatrical companies will carry a personnel ot fourteen players and present legitimate plays only. The other four will iw- variety entertainments. The companies will play each cantonment one week, with nUhtly performances and mMtinees Wednesdays and Saturdays. The bills will be changed every two days.
