Show RAILROAD ACCIDENT VICTIM GETS $6500 Mrs. Ehoda Stowell Was Injured While on a Train Between Salt Laie and Provo. At tie conclusion of a trial lasting three days, a jury in the federal court yesterday awarded Mrs. Ehoda Stowell a verdkt for $6500 against the Salt Lake & Utah railroad in compensation for personal injuries sustained by her several months ago while a pass'enger traveling on one of the trains of the defendant de-fendant between Salt Lake and Provo. In her comp'aiut Mrs. Stowell asked for 810,95.S5. This is the first civil action tried during the present term of the United States court in which a verdict for the plaintiff has been returned by a jury. It was established to the satisfaction of the jurj that as a result of the severe se-vere shaking up to which she was subjected sub-jected as a victim of a collision, she had become afflicted with neurasthenia.
