Declaring that the colleges and universities of the United States have met the appeal of the food administration for help in production and conservation work cordially, Herbert Hoover, national food administrator, has just written to President E. G. Peterson of the Utah Agricultural coliese express-ins express-ins his special gratitude to that institution institu-tion for the fine work it has clone. According to President Peterson, the college is in an even better position to aid duj-ing the coming season than during dur-ing the past, and an especial effort will be made to carry the great war message of greater crops, more animals and more careful conservation of food to the people in the most effective way. "Several thousand people of Utah have been or will be met with a personal appeal ap-peal through our farmers' roundups and housekeepers' conferences," declared President Peterson. "This work will be carried on vigorously throughout t he state by our extension division, while most carefully planned propaganda will go forth from the institution at Logan " |
