The hall was decorated with the national colors and ti'-Liool pennants. Music wa-s furnished by the university orchestra. The officers of the freshman class had charge of the dancing and officers and members of the sophomore class served refreshments. About 150 were in attendance. The proceeds pro-ceeds of the entertainment will be used to defray the expenses of the cass booths at the junior prom, to be given next Friday evening at the Hotel Utah. Those to ho Initiated this evening will be Miss Mar-ba Mar-ba Cannon, Miss kathcrlno Marshall, Miss Leah Burton, Miss Mary Romnev and Miss Aimee Whitnev. ' The weekly work party of tho junior class of the University of Utah will be held this evenine at the Sigma Chi chapter chap-ter house on East First South street. The members of the class will attend the Utah-Aggie basketball game and will go to the fraternity house later. This will probably be the Inst work party of the year. The final preparations for the junior prom will be made at this time. Tho members of the prom committee are in charge of the work parties. Miss JTariette K. McLolland. charming young daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Thomas McLelland of this city, will leave this afternoon to spend the winter-end with relatives in Los Angeles. While In the California city Miss McLelland will visit with hpr aunt, Mrs. J. F. F.ckbert; her sister, Mrs. H. F. Nicklin. who was formerly for-merly Miss Leone McLelland of this city, nnd her sister. Miss Katherine McLelland. Mc-Lelland. She will also pay a visit to Camp Kearny at San Diego, where she h;is several friends and relatives in training train-ing preparatory to going across to France. Miss McLelland has been the guest of honor at several farewells given this week by friends and members of her clubs. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Weeter have returned re-turned from San Francisco, where they have been visiting their son. Lieutenant Ellis Weeter, who has been in the hospital hos-pital at the Presidio. Lieutenant "Weeter has now sufficiently recovered to return to his regiment at Camp Lewis, American Amer-ican Lake. Mrs. Joseph Young of Syracuse, Utah, will leave today for Los Angeles. Members of tho East High School Girls' Athletic association will entertain the members of the junior indoor baseball team today wtih a ride to Tooele, where the school basketball team will piav tonight. to-night. The girls will attend the game, after which there will be a dance.
