Show REXALL SHIPS 400 TONS IN SEVEN DAYS Practically All Properties in Alta District Dis-trict Kesuine Shipment; Dangerous Slide Threatened. The ' teamsters hauling from Cohim-bus-Rexall are making tie most ot the favorable weather despite the. report that a dangerous slide is threatened at Superior gulch. According to reports received last night by Manager M. K. livans, twenty-three teams leit the mine with full loads yesterday, making better bet-ter than 400 tons from the mine within the past seven days. The fifth car of the week was billed out by Columbus-KexaU yesterday from bandy. Each car so far sent out has carried a little better than sixty tons, making a littlo more than 300 tons billed out during the week. The twenty-three twenty-three loads from the mine yesterday should reach Sandy this morning and 'should fill two cars with a little to spare. Manager Evans reported last night that one car had been placed for Bexall ore at Sandy and that four more had been ordered. Jt is expected that the teams will return from the next trip Sunday morning. lror the twenty-four hours ending ves-terday ves-terday afternoon the miners at (Johun-bus-Eexall had taken out a little more than fifty tons. It is expected that as much more will be taken out during the twenty-four hours ending this afternoon and that there will be ample ore in the bins for all the teams when they' return re-turn today. Practically all the producing properties proper-ties in the Alta district have resumed shipments with the possible exception of Michigan-Utah. Keports received yesterday by Judge Jf. VV. Haire indicated indi-cated that Michigan-Utah probably would resume shipping today or Mon-dav. Mon-dav. the Alta Consolidated is reported to have two cars of or ready to move, and the Sells has an accumulation due to the impassable roads. South Hecla and Emma Consolidated resumed shipping several days ago. |
